Lockerbie Square Cabinet Company, founded by Dan Barnett in the fall of 1978 was originally located in the Peak Nut Building in historic Lockerbie Square.

Our first three employees were hired in 1979 as we began building kitchens for residents of the Lockerbie and the Old North Side neighborhoods and doing tenant work for Merchants Plaza.

Our work at Merchants Plaza included a well known specialty toy store – FAO Schwarz.  It was here, in 1980, that the president of FAO Schwarz first learned of Lockerbie Cabinets.  Between 1980 and 1986  Lockerbie Square Cabinet Company completed fifteen stores across the country, including a major remodel of the flagship 5th Avenue FAO Schwarz in New York City.

During this time, our client list in the Indianapolis area had grown to include Embassy Suites, Melvin Simon & Associates,  F.C. Tucker, the Federal Reserve, the Indiana Hoosier Lottery, and Channel 6 TV.

We now have a very extensive client list, including Capital Improvement Board of Indianapolis, Charles C. Brandt Construction, Edwards - Rigdon Construction, Indiana Oral and Maxiofacial Surgery  -   just to name a few - and this does not include all the residential work we have done throught the metropolitain area.

Thanks to our wonderful clients, and word of mouth, our business continues to grow.

In 2013 we moved to our new location in the Speedway Industrial Park.
